BIOLINE is supplied with breathable air at a medium pressure of about 7 bar.
This air is released by a highly developed demand valve which delivers it automatically according to the physiological needs of the wearer. It is at a slight positive pressure to prevent the penetration of toxic gases in the event of the mask not being tightly sealed on the face of the wearer. This compressed air can come from one of the following sources :
• network of purified compressed air ·
• electro-compressor set.
• supply trolley carrying one or
   several cylinders of compressed air.

Automatic Safety option added.
The connection unit (4) on the belt also includes :
An automatic permutator which ensures the supply of the mask from a 2 litre cylinder of air filled at 200 bar (5) in case of failure of the main network ; this allows the wearer of the B.A.S. 10 minutes to evacuate the toxic zone.

DESCRIPTION
MASK (1)
Panoramic with quick adjustable head straps. Its flexible internal profile ensures tightness on all faces.
Internal half mask to prevent formation of mist, even during use at low temperatures (- 30°). Speech diaphragm for use of telephone or radio links.

AIR REGULATING SYSTEM (2)
Quick coupling demand valve 5000. As soon as it is connected on the mask it releases and automatically maintains a slight positive pressure ensuring excellent breathing comfort whatever working activities of the wearer are. A push-button makes it possible to obtain an extra emergency air flow.
The air inlet is automatically closed when the valve is uncoupled from the mask.

BELT (3 and 4)
with the connection unit allowing the wearer to pull the air delivery hose. It is fitted with a quick action automatic shut-off coupling.

CYLINDER
2 or 3 litre, 200 or 300 bar, light alloy or steel.
